Sponsorship - How to Apply?

DBCT P/L recognises the importance of sponsoring both small and large events across our community. To assess each application, there’s a small sponsorship committee consisting of representatives from across various areas of the business that review all requests at a monthly meeting.

DBCT P/L regularly receives applications from sports clubs; major Mackay events, fundraisers, football carnivals, community arts programs, health programs, and many more. We would love to sponsor everything, but we can’t. Make sure you put your best foot forward in your application and fill out the form thoroughly, making sure to think about the following:

• What’s in it for Mackay: show the benefits of your event/organisation to the community. How does this add to the liveability of Mackay? How will this make people’s lives better?

• What’s the Return on investment: List in as much detail as possible what you’ll be giving DBCT P/L in return for the sponsorship money.

DBCT P/L is proud to support several key annual events such as the Mackay Marina Run, Whitsunday Voices Youth Literary Festival and DBCT Illuminate, as well as organisations such as Sarina Men’s Shed, All Abilities Mackay and PCYC.
